New in Career Lab

Ask me questions about AI.

Which tools should I pay for? How do I get the same quality out of my AI tool twice? Inside Career Lab, you can now ask me.

I've been teaching AI agent building for the past few months, and there's something I'm noticing once people start living with the work of their AI agents. The questions start.

  • Which tools should I pay for? Do I need to pay for multiple AI tools?
  • How do I get the same quality out of my AI tool twice? One time it's good, the next time it's WTF, help me understand what I'm doing wrong.
  • My manager wants me using AI by January, where do I even start?

These are the types of questions I get often, and most of the time no one wants to ask them openly.

So inside Career Lab, you can now ask me questions about AI.

Jacqueline V. Twillie

Ask Jacqueline, ironically, is not an AI answering your questions. I'll be answering them directly.

I don't have a technical background, so if I don't know the answer, I'll point you to the best available resource that can give you a solid answer.

What else is in Career Lab?

You can still ask questions about all of this. It remains.

  • Career strategy
  • Negotiation
  • Leadership
  • AI fluency · new

I've expanded the feature so I can support AI fluency for mid to senior level professionals.

Some ideas of what you could ask

  • Which AI tool fits the job?
  • How do I write instructions for an AI agent that the agent will actually follow?
  • How do I check work before it goes out under my name?
  • How do I talk about AI with my boss, who's nervous about it but telling me to use it?

It's not limited to that. Again, if I don't know the answer, I'll point you in the right direction.

How does this work?

  1. Open Ask Jacqueline from your dashboard.

Sign in to Career Lab and open Ask Jacqueline from your dashboard. If you haven't been in for a while, check out the dashboard. There are new features there.

  2. Write your question in the box.

Give me a real situation. Leave out proprietary information and PII, so you don't violate any of your company's policies. Do share what you've tried and where it's broken, generalized.

  3. I read these and I respond.

Don't expect an instant answer. I have time blocked on my weekday calendar to respond twice a day to questions that come through this feature.

I look forward to supporting you in your AI journey with Career Lab.
